Profisonic SYSCONA - Tightness control system
ProfiSonic is a system for detecting leaking containers. Bottles, cans and barrels filled with a product containing CO2 lose quality due to the escape of carbon dioxide. Consumer complaints and lost sales are the result. A remedy within your filling line is an ultrasonic bath that causes the product, e.g. in a leaking bottle, to foam up. This is achieved by mechanical vibrations within the water bath. The foaming causes liquid to escape and the filling level to drop. At a suitable installation point, e.g. between the filler and the labeler, the now underfilled bottles can be automatically sorted out at the existing Syscona level control.
Quality assurance through detection of:
- Sealing rubber defects in swing stopper bottles
- Hanger fatigue for swing stopper bottles
- Leakage from PET and PVC bottles
- Cap leakage with any type of crown cork, screw cap, twist off, natural and plastic corks
- Leakage due to damaged bottle mouths
- Leakage from beverage cans, keg and KEG closure seals
